         Urbanization brings many changes in the surrounding environment.due to migration of people and increasing population urbanization is increasing day by day.To control the haphazard growth and development it is essential to do urban planning.

           In the process of such urban planning there would be either positive or negative impact in environment.some of the example are illustrate below 

1.Although industry is required for the community services but industrial waste degrades the environment.

2. Hard landscape,pavement streets reduce the catchment area of water which causes the ground water problem.

3.Due to smoke of vehical and industry the environment is polluted and cause health hazard.
